Abstract
International Arbitration is arguably the preferred and dominant method of settling international disputes concerning international trade. The area is also a standard subject in legal education around the world. This chapter explores the Willem C Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and its utility for the educational development of students. The Willem C Vis InternationalCommercial Arbitration Moot subject matter concerns the international sale of goods transaction, where students respond to a hypothetical arbitration scenario. This educative tool unites participants from different countries and it is argued that through the shared experience of the Moot, Arab nations and Australia may promote and develop trade relations. The chapter discusses future challenges to and opportunities that arise out of the Moot.
