    Abstract

Interprofessional education is important in preparing health professional students for collaborative practice in 21st century clinical environments. Challenges in delivering interprofessional education revolve around the logistics of aligning curriculum and timetables to facilitate participation by a range of students. This challenge is magnified when the target students are engaged in workplace learning
and interprofessional activities are considered extra-mural to their curriculum.
