End-of-Life Essentials – improving the quality of dying in acute hospitals.

Research output: Contribution to conferenceAbstractpeer-review

Abstract

More people die is acute hospitals than anywhere else in Australia. End-of-Life Essentials (EOLE) provides free, evidence-based education, toolkits, and accreditation resources to enhance the quality of end-of-life care in hospitals.1 EOLE was conceptually developed from the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care Consensus Statement and is funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care’s National Palliative Care program. EOLE aims to increase knowledge and skills in end-of-life care for health care
professionals (HCPs) working in the acute hospital sector.
