Abstract

Objectives: Although reported in literature for a decade, the general implementation of enhanced recovery after pancreatoduodenectomy (ERAP) protocols have been less enthusiastic compared to subspecialties such as colorectal surgery. The aim of the present study was to determine factors influencing the successful implementation of ERAP protocols by analyzing their relation to duration of hospital stay.
