Abstract
According to the government's 2010 Intergenerational Report, Australia's ageing population is growing rapidly, with the number of people in Australia aged 85 and older expected to increase from 0.4 million to 1.8 million by 2050. It is expected Australians will live longer but with co-morbidities such as cancer.
