Abstract

At Flinders University we are dedicated to finding solutions to complex challenges with research that matters.

In a groundbreaking initiative, we asked 30,000 Australians from across the nation to voice the problems that matter to them the most in their local communities, resulting in the Flinders Wicked Problems Report.

Wicked problems, such as climate change, healthcare, social inequality, and the cost of living are complicated and unpredictable. These issues don’t have clear-cut solutions and can’t be solved with simple approaches.

Flinders is bringing together a broad range of expertise, working in collaboration with government, industry and community, creating new knowledge to tackle the problems that Australians care about the most.

Working together to make the world a fairer, healthier and more prosperous place for generations to come.
