Abstract

Calcinosis cutis is an uncommon condition, characterised by the formation of painless, calcified masses in the periarticular soft tissues, especially along the extensor surfaces. The elbows and hips are the common sites. We report a case of calcinosis cutis in a 55-year-old female, in the subcutaneous tissue over the right iliac fossa diagnosed by FNAC.
