Abstract
Research underpins the quality of clinical care we provide to our patients and to our
communities. As health professionals, we are trained to practise medicine based on science and current knowledge. Our knowledge is based on the evidence provided by clinical research, the wisdom shared by our teachers and colleagues, and the insights that we gain from our daily work.
