Abstract

This is a comprehensive chapter on fractures and vascularity problems of all carpal bones. Fractures and nonunions of the scaphoid bone are discussed in detail including scaphoid nonunion advanced collapse (SNAC) wrist and salvage procedures. Classifications and techniques are clearly outlined. All other carpal bone fractures are also reviewed with concise tables of fracture types and treatment. The chapter concludes with dysvascular carpal issues.
