Abstract
Regionalism and internationalism are themes that emerge strongly in this issue. Intersecting with these is evidence of the ever-expanding scholarship on the experiences, consequences and representations of war. These themes are not only subjects of research, but also frame much of the teaching done by historians in our universities.
