Abstract
One of several living lab experiences within the Fostering Digital Participation Project, the storyelling group provided an opportunity for young people in the Toowoomba region to develop their skills in digital storytelling. As a living lab experience, storyelling became increasingly self-directed as members accepted the various roles necessary to achieve their aim of building a website to publish digital stories. Built on the WIX platform, storyelling has published a variety of digital stories in a number of audio-visual formats (http://toowoombaconnect.wixsite.com/storyelling). The following interview was conducted by Roger Osborne with storyelling members Sarah Peters and Rosie O'Shannessy. Here they discuss the origins of the group, their living lab experience, the challenges they faced in building their website and the future of storyelling in Toowoomba.
