German Perspectives on Indigenous Australia

Research output: Contribution to specialist publicationBook/Film/Article review

Abstract

There has long been a need for this book. The German contribution to ethnographic knowledge in Australia has been enormous, yet as a result of a complex mix of historical and political circumstances, it has been undervalued and misunderstood. This collection of eighteen essays will go a long way to correcting that.
