Abstract

Driven from their homelands by political upheaval, commercial disruption, technological revolution, declining agricultural productivity and a rapidly expanding population, Greek migrants first arrived in South Australia in the mid-nineteenth century, settling in Adelaide, Port Pirie and the South Australian West Coast.
