Abstract

Three new antibiotics grividomycins I, II and III belonging to streptogramin class, have been isolated from a Streptomyces sp. HIL Y- 8240155. The antibiotics are active against several resistant Gram positive bacteria. The structures of these compounds were elucidated mainly by HREIMS, GCMS and chiral GC.
