Abstract

Australia’s future will increasingly depend on groundwater. Australia has made good progress with groundwater science, education, management, and policy reform. However, there are many challenges ahead. This is combined with rising expectations of our capacity and capability to advance and solve many interesting, important, and complex problems with integration of interdisciplinary social and biophysical data, information, and knowledge.
