Abstract
Different forms and type of measurement offer us a range of different information. All is important but at times some can be more valuable than others. Measuring limb circumferences (and volumes) and taking note of the patient's subjective indications of how their lymphoedema is affecting them (and how it is being changed by treatment) tells us only about the effects of a disordered or disrupted lymphatic system and not of the nature of the actual changes to lymphatic system function
