Abstract
In this article the authors of an original publication on the so-called Porus medallions of Alexander the Great published a few years ago in the Journal of the Numismatic Association of Australia respond to some criticism addressed at their study by F. Holt in issue 15 of this journal (pp. 13–20). The authors’ rebuttal is based on mathematical principles and textual analysis.
