Abstract

One of the challenges in EEG education worldwide, particularly in regional and remote areas, is connecting students with experienced neurologists or clinical neurophysiologists. The International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) has supported EEG teaching globally with distance learning options for more than 15 years, 1 and ILAE sponsored congresses including the Virtual Epilepsy Academy (VIREPA) EEG courses, the ILAE School on Advanced EEG in Denmark (DSSEE), and Baltic Sea Summer School on Epilepsy (BSSSE).
