Abstract

In acknowledgement of the recent letter from Campbell¹ arising from an editorial previously published in the journal,² I welcome the opportunity to provide this clarification. Specifically, I respond to the author’s reference to ‘incorrect assumptions in euthanization as a medical option within palliative care’, as well as their question: ‘Do you still consider such a method a part of legitimate palliative care?’
