Abstract

This document is a review of the draft SARDI Publication entitled Oceanographic monitoring and far-field modelling to inform desalination in Boston Bay by Dr Mark Doubell and Dr Charles James of the South Australian Research and Development Institute (Aquatic Sciences), henceforth referred to as SARDI report.

The objective of this document is to provide the authors of the SARDI report and SA Water with an external expert review that may help the authors to improve the scientific quality of their work, and that may assist SA Water in the process of finding a suitable location for the planned Port Lincoln Desalination Plant. This review also contains a list of critical questions for the authors of the SARDI report.
