Review international literature on the effectiveness of Jigsaw’s disability employment pathway model; Develop a theory of change to map resources, activities, and outcomes for people with disabilities, their families and the wider community; Conduct a mixed-methods evaluation of the pathway model from the perspectives of participants, families, and staff; Create a social impact framework identifying key data for measuring Jigsaw’s social return on investment; Identify opportunities to enhance the model for greater social impact.
The researchers asked interviewees about the advantages and challenges of the model, the outcomes being achieved, and any ways in which the Jigsaw model could be improved. They surveyed 115 Jigsaw participants to identify:
Their quality of life; Constructs related to quality of life specifically in a work context: Job satisfaction, Perceptions of self-efficacy, Feeling of competence and productivity; their preferred next step on their employment pathway
