Abstract

In this special edition of Rural Society, we present a collection of papers developed from a research symposium held in Alice Springs, in November 2019. The symposium, which was established in 2017 at the initiative of the Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education, brought together more than 100 people to listen and learn from research in or about central Australia. The works presented in this special issue represent a selection of the 30 presentations that were delivered.
