Abstract
This research project, negotiated between Griffith University and the Tasmanian
Department of Education and conducted in partnership with staff from the
Department, involved case study research during 2014 in five Tasmanian schools
where their principals had completed the five leadership professional development
modules of the Principals as Literacy Leaders (PALL) program during 2013. The
purpose of the case study research was to gather data about the effects of the PALL
program on principals’ leadership and the impact of interventions in reading on
teaching, student learning and achievement during 2014.
