Abstract
The Umoona Kidney Project (UKP) is a co-operative partnership between the Umoona Tjutagku Health Service (UTHS) and the Renal Units of Flinders Medical Centre (FMC) and the Women’s and Children’s Hospital (WCH), Adelaide. The present study attempted to identify by questionnaire the attitudes, both positive and negative, that local Aboriginal people have toward the UKP to ensure it proceeds in an effective and culturally appropriate manner.
