Abstract
Almost 10% of Australians report having used amphetamine type
substances in their lifetime. The effects of these substances varies
considerably but management of patients with Stimulant Use Disorders can be difficult. Drug effects, long-term effects of chronic use
and management of withdrawal and dependence will be described.
