Abstract
We don't have enough ordained ministers. Each month I participate in what we call a "placements" meeting. It brings together the people with pastoral oversight of the 143 active ministers and 285 congregations in our region to try to set up conversations between representatives of congregations seeking a minister and ministers who might have the particular experience, gifts and skills that they need. And we don't have enough ministers.
