Abstract

Background: With its unrestricted access to direct-acting antiviral (DAA) drugs, Australia is committed to eradicating hepatitis C virus (HCV). Innovations in models of care (MOCs) and decentralization of HCV care to avoid bottlenecks associated with specialist tertiary care models are two of the strategies being employed to augment treatment capacity.
