Abstract

This paper reports on the morphological variations of six Schizothoracinae species, including Aspiorhynchus laticeps, Schizothorax biddulphi, Schizothorax eurystomus, Schizothorax barbatus, Schizothorax intermedia, and Diptychus maculatus, the first reference to the morphological characters of these species. Based on the results from the cluster analysis, S. biddulphi and S. eurystomus are the most morphologically similar, with their Euclidean distances within 0.0167; their morphological similarity to S. intermedia, A. laticeps, and D. maculatus is gradually reduced, with an increase in the Euclidean distance from 0.0317 to 0.5765.
