Abstract
This review presents data obtained by the author and from the literature on studying genetics of the monofloretcluster (MF-CL) trait in sugar beet. The results of analysis of four MF alleles are demonstrated, two genetic sources of the MF trait are compared, and the use of special MF analyzers in studying genetic polymorphism in MF trait is described.
