Abstract

Aged care is transforming rapidly, driven by evolving client needs, regulatory changes, and workforce challenges. The successful implementation of innovations—including new models of care, guidelines, services, and technology—will be essential for improving the quality of care and ensuring organizational sustainability amid increasing demand and limited resources in the sector. In aged care, continuing improvement and reform relies on more than just selecting an effective innovation. The path to successful implementation of innovations in aged care is complex, and multiple factors can influence successful outcomes.1
