Abstract
There are many possible causes of a stiff shoulder. In this chapter, the authors will discuss some of the secondary causes of shoulder stiffness. This includes factors such as neurological disorders, heterotopic ossification, calcification tendonitis, degenerative arthritis, generalized arthritis, and posttraumatic causes. Each of these factors has a different effect on the presentation and required management of shoulder stiffness.
