Abstract

Research Objective: Suboptimal healthcare service access by older individuals after entering long term care facilities (LTCFs) and the potentially negative impacts this can have on their health outcomes and overall wellbeing have been reported. This study examined the patterns of healthcare service utilisation following entry to LTCFs and their association with mortality.
