Abstract

The Palliative Care Outcomes Collaborative (PCOC) is a national quality initiative to support the continuous improvement of palliative care in Australia. In consultation with the sector, PCOC is developing benchmarks to measure changes in pain, and
with pain management regarded as core business for palliative care, results showing large variations are of interest and concern.
