    Abstract

    Online pedagogy is approached in multiple ways when exploring technology solutions in higher education institutions. Within the complex and sophisticated range of technology solutions and interactions that take place among technologically qualified advisors and educational development consultants in higher education, a conversation is rarely framed within pedagogy to assess the impact of the technology on learners and learning. This chapter highlights the importance of pedagogical discussions as the essence of online pedagogy.
