Abstract

Abstract: Pneumococcal sepsis in a neonate. G. Shanks, J. Turnidge, P. Marshall and P. McDonald, Aust. N.Z. J. Med., 1982, 12, pp. 185–186. A case of neonatal pneumococcal sepsis without meningitis or pneumonia is reported. Early diagnosis and treatment resulted in the successful resolution of this usually fatal infection.
