Abstract
To discuss the Constitution is to raise the question about the country we want. In our time, this concern is channeled through dissatisfied and mobilized citizens in the streets, with a common challenge: to question the structures of domination and legitimation, demanding a review of the ways in which power is exercised. Where does sovereignty reside in today's democracy? Are we facing an incipient global and local constituent process? The objective of this work is to present contemporary debates and provide conceptual and analytical tools that allow us to understand the reasons that explain the change in light of the events in Chile and the world.
