Abstract

St John Ambulance Australia Inc plays a leading role in improving the management of patient care services at major public events. Ongoing funding from external agencies continues to assist St John to conduct a variety of research projects. In 2001 St John Ambulance Australia Inc was awarded an Australian Safer Communities Award by the Commonwealth Government in recognition of their work in the area of first aid services research.
