Abstract

This book presents recent advances in wearable health monitoring technology. The
recent advances in this field yield the potentials to improve the accuracy and relia-
bility of medical diagnoses, and their integration in the everyday personal electronic
devices will re-ignite human-computer interaction enabling a more intimate relationship with electronic devices that will help to close the loop of personalized medicine empowering patients of their own health focusing on the real lifestyle and daily routine.
