Abstract

We, all three, have long been involved in issues related to food security as researchers, practitioners and teachers. This Handbook presents contributions on theoretical developments, policy approaches and practical applications, set out under five parts. By using this approach, the Handbook aims to provide an overview of the state of the art in the field and calibrates the scope of research as well as offering examples of solutions to the problems.
