Abstract

The development of computer-assisted language learning (CALL) has been investigated for more than three decades. Despite huge growth in publications from Global North contexts, concerns have been raised by scholars and educators regarding the efficiency, equity, and diversity implications of integrating CALL into education contexts which may be underrepresented in the current literature base (e.g., see Tafazoli & Picard, 2023).
