Professional services: supporting student success

Research output: Contribution to journalEditorial

Abstract

As this is my first editorial as Co-Editor of Perspectives: Policy & Practice in Higher Education, alongside David Law, let me thank David and the Editorial Board for their support. David and I are sharing the work of this journal's Editor role between us and this year we are alternating the ‘lead’ every six months. Due to the lag between the work involved in putting an issue of Perspectives together and it ‘hitting the streets’, this will seem slightly out of kilter as I have actually been doing the job since January and David will take over again in August. This journal is an excellent contribution to the AUA membership benefits and offers a unique perspective to the debate in the more practitioner-focused areas of policy, management and leadership in higher education. The journal continues to contribute strongly to the Taylor and Francis suite of education journals, and provides case studies and thought-provoking research on a breadth of areas that all of us can utilise within our work, to one degree or another.
