Abstract

Aim: To determine evidence for the effects of care rationing on nurse related outcomes.
Objective: We will conduct a systematic review to 1) Identify studies which connect care rationing with nurse related outcomes in acute-and institutional long-term nursing care settings 2) Determine evidence for the impact of care rationing on nurse related outcomes in acute and institutional long-term care settings. This encompasses the outcomes for different qualification groups of the nursing workforce.
