Abstract

This report presents the results of a drilling program carried out in July 1985 near Wanbi, South Australia. The aim of the exercise was to determine if runoff from a mallee (Eucalyptus spp.) vegetated sand dune was causing enhanced recharge at the base of the dune. The study forms part of a larger project dealing with the effects of land clearing on groundwater recharge in the western Murray Basin. Samples collected were analysed for chloride and water content. -Authors
