Abstract
It is bitter-cold sorting and packing with ice in the air and a chill in our bones and our hearts heavy with a sadness beyond measure crave warming, thawing, through this sorting-packing-tea-drinking process... this process I respect-honour-understand this process, so very slow without rhythm method or plan but all charged-up by gut-instinct raw-emotion love and tea. So many bits in cupboards-drawers-shelves and we sit and gather, all visceral black-women-intuition, and attempt to piece together fragments of an intricate-broken-life with such conviction and intent that we just might make her whole again.
