Abstract
This chapter is an account of the creation of Uniting College for Leadership & Theology, Adelaide. It shows the way a major project in historical research released forces for change and innovation in theological education, and includes a nuanced analysis of a key development in theological education in the Uniting Church in Australia in the early 21st century.
