Abstract
The authors present a well-conducted and timely study addressing the long-term risk of reoperation after childhood hypospadias repair. This work makes a meaningful contribution to the urological literature because few reports offer such extensive follow-up data. The authors conclude that, among distal hypospadias repairs, the risk of reoperation was higher after tubularized incised plate urethroplasty and among proximal repairs, higher after multistage techniques.
