Abstract

This chapter provides the reader with a stepwise approach to the decision making and surgical management of a patient who developed pancreatic cancer on the background of having a previous Roux-en-Y gastric bypass for morbid obesity. The nuances of reconstruction following a pancreatoduodenectomy are detailed in the face of the altered anatomy resulting from the bypass surgery.
