Abstract

To the Editor,
Thank you for the opportunity to respond to therecent letter regarding our publication ‘Does onlineclinical mentoring for physical therapists improve clinical practice and patient outcomes? A randomized controlled trial.’ [1] We thank Dr Tezen for their remarksregarding the importance of our research and theirrecommendations for future work in this space. Weagree with the sentiment of the letter that suggeststhat the use of online clinical mentoring should not bedismissed based on a single randomized controlledtrial. Future work is indeed required that builds onour research and incorporates suggestions from ourwork and from those raised by Dr Tezen. However, weappreciate this opportunity to elaborate on certainpragmatic barriers to implementing some of therecommendations.
