Abstract
This interim summary report presents the findings from the evaluation of the Restore Intensive Family Services program, which supports families at high risk of child removal across 11 local councils in South Australia. Conducted from September 2023 to June 2024, the evaluation utilised qualitative and quantitative methods to address two key research questions: the effectiveness and appropriateness of the program’s design and delivery, and the extent to which it achieves its intended outcomes, including improved family safety and wellbeing, increased capability, enhanced access to community supports, and strengthened cultural connections. The findings will inform the ongoing development of the Restore program.
