Abstract
Book Review.
The recent passion for understanding the politics of the twentieth century through the medium of biography is given further scope through this detailed study of the life of Italy’s Duce. Inevitably, comparisons will be drawn with Ian Kershaw’s mammoth and masterful biography of Hitler; they are likely to be overwhelmingly favourable.
